Staff information

To become a staff member or to have a staff role, a user must contact any Bureaucrat on their message wall. When contacting them a user might be able to be accepted, however the user is much more likely to become staff, when staff applications are sent out to Bureaucrats or Admins. The user must be 13 years of age to be a Staff member, shouldn't act immature, shouldn't be aggressive towards any users and if any allegations arise which have a Staff member involved in them, then they will be dealt with privately.

Bureaucrats and Admins can go to the Admin Dashboard to customize the Wiki. They can go to Theme Designer to Change Different aspects of Theming and Colouring of the Wiki. They can also go to the Import JS Page to Import Javascripts from Fandom Dev Wiki. They can go to the Statistics Page, where they'll see all the Page, Edit and User Statistics of this Wiki. They can go to the Special Pages page to see all the Special Pages on this Wiki.

Amount of staff

The required amount of staff varies for each user groups, and can occasionally change. Here is how many users can be staff at a time for each user groups:

  • Bureaucrats = 1-2
  • Administrators = 6-8
  • Content Moderators = 6-8
  • Thread Moderators = 6-8
  • Rollbacks = 6-8

Bureaucrat roles

The Bureaucrat has all the same permissions as a regular Admin except they have the ability to overrule decisions of regular Admins. There can only be 2 Bureaucrats at a time and the Bureaucrat is chosen by the retiring Bureaucrat.

  • Promote User to any staff group
  • Edit MediaWiki Pages
  • Block Users
  • Protect Pages
  • Edit any locked pages
  • Delete and edit any Discussions/Comments
  • Rollback Edits

Admin roles

The Administrator is a position elected by the Bureaucrat, and Administrators. They can manage the overall wiki with the ability to:

  • Permissions of regular administrator.
  • Overruling of all staff below principals.
  • Starting, stopping, and restarting staff elections.
  • Casts the equivalent of a principals vote in all staff votes.

Content mod roles

Content moderators are trusted to remove any profanity, spam, or anything else harmful towards this Wiki, and are trusted to delete pages that don't follow this Fandom's Rules. Their main user rights are:

  • Protect Pages.
  • Edit any locked page.
  • Rollback edits.

Thread mod roles

Thread moderators are users who monitor the discussion Threads to make sure the rules are being followed. Here are some of their main user rights are:

  • Delete and edit any Discussions/Comments
  • Removing messages on message walls.
  • Editing and deleting article comments.
  • Deleting, restoring, and locking discussions posts and replies.
  • Locking page comment sections.

Rollback roles

Rollbacks can undo edits in one click. Regularly, undoing an edit will take multiple clicks. But with rollback, it will automatically undo recent edited user's edit in one button. In order to become a rollback, you must be an active contributor with over 50 edits, who also has been on on the wiki for over 30 days and also help fight against vandalism, as well as having useful contributions.

Community Maintenance

For Maintenance, Admins can visit the page "Special:SpecialPages" where all the linked pages need to be maintained.

Community Voting

On this Fandom, votes are held between staff members to make decisions on things in this Fandom. This could range from a new category proposal, staff reinstatement, or other contested topics in this Fandom. All staff members who are on this Fandom can vote. All votes end after a week, unless there is a majority before then, and they also have an attached thread for discussions on the vote.

Staff Promotion

Upon a Bureaucrat retiring a vote between all staff members will take place on the Staff Voting Page. This vote will decided which Administrator will become the next Bureaucrat. Until the vote is complete the retiring Bureaucrat will stay Bureaucrat until the vote is complete, so they can promote the chosen administrator to Bureaucrat then they may relieve themselves of the Bureaucrat permission.

In order to be promoted to an Administrator a user must be a Content Mod or a Thread Mod who spends their time contributing to wiki pages and moderating discussions as well.

Bureaucrat Demotion Process

If all staff members vote on and agree that one of the current Bureaucrats must be demoted, from there it is the bureaucrat's duty to follow the rules of the staff page and initiate the Bureaucrat Demotion Process.
